What happens if customs catches me importing knockoff designer clothing from China?

I recently purchased some clothing from China. I know now that it is fake. I really do not care, I’m not going to sell it, I plan on wearing it myself.

What is the possibility of my order being caught by customs?
What happens to me if they do catch it?

As long as the proper paper was filled out then nothing should happen to you since it is personal use.

If its for personal use, they’re not going to do anything- might confiscate it would be the worst. They’ll pretty much ignore it- after all, look at all the knockoffs they sell on Ebay.

Not much of anything will happen to you as long as it’s for personal use. Don’t try and pass off hundreds of pairs of jeans as personal use though. It seems like everyone who visits Asia comes back with a knockoff watch as a souvenir.

They throw you into an underground modeling walk-off where desire can turn deadly and fear is your only weapon!
