My sister is preggers at the moment and when she finally started showing she didn’t want to spend a lot of money on maternity clothes, not did she want to spend 9 months in a moo-moo. She went to Old Navy and founds lots of cute stuff. Here are a few outfits I made with stuff from there:

Another thing she did was go to her favorite shop and buy things in the regular women’s section and just go a size or two larger, so that she could wear all the cute little things that are popular now. Hope this helps you out!!

I don’t look pregnant yet, but my clothes are getting too small!

If I were you I would definatly start wearing them now, plus people will know you are pregnant and youll get lots of attention ….. You want to be as comfortable as possible, being pregnant is like an exuse to be fat, kinda so its alright if you were cloths that are big. You will be happy and comfortable!

I am 16 wks now and my pre preg clothes still fit just fine. Just curious when I will have to make that dreaded switch into maternity clothing ha ha? When you did? Thanks! =)

I had to start buying the pants around 15 weeks. I am 31 weeks and now I am slowly getting some shirts because most of mine are no longer long enough.

Every woman is different. A friend of mine is only 13 weeks and her pants no longer fit.

I am only 13 weeks pregnant and i already feel big! I don’t think i gain weigth, maybe a pound or so, but my belly i really HUGE. My belly is as big as it was at 5 months pregnancy for my first one and there is only one in there! It ’s kind of scary…will i get bigger this time? Had you gain more weight in your second pregnancy? And how fast did you lost it after the baby was born?

10 weeks because of the bloat I bought some stretchy pants. I am now 14 weeks and down to the stretchy pants, another pair of maternity pants and one pair of pre pregnancy shorts that WERE too huge.

i am looking for this piece of clothing that you can latch onto your regular pants, so you will not have to buy all new maternity pants. I heard about it once before, please help.

Bella band is an elastic type band (looks similar to a tube top) that you can use over unbuttoned pants… it doesn’t attach but works great.

start wearing maternity clothing whenever you like.The main thing is that your comfortable!My son is six months and every now and then i still wear my maternity troussers!!
Just be comfortable in whatever you wear. You don’t even have to wear maternity clothing if you dont want to.

I just found out I am pregnant and am a plus size woman. I will need cute clothing for work and play. Do you have any suggestions? Internet stores are good too

Ebay is also a good place to buy nice lots of used maternity clothes. Just search for "maternity lot 2x" (for example) or whatever your size might be.

J.C. Penney also has a cute maternity line, including plus sizes.

I am pregnant and am having trouble finding clothes that are stylish, different, comfortable and in my price range. Did or does anyone have these problems? If so, what did you want to find, where did you find it and what at what pricing? Basically, if you designed maternity clothes; what would they be like?

I would not recommend a dress. They will make you look huge. I would stick with slacks and cute little tops. JC Penny has some real cute tops.

White or black tops look great and it flows better on the body. You can always wear and undershirt to keep your belly from showing.

Prints normally don’t look that good.

I have found a lot of great trendy stores, like stella maternity, but I’m just not willing to spend $50 on a T-shirt I’ll only wear for a little while.

Check out Old Navy’s website. They have some great maternity clothes at fairly inexpensive prices. Plus shipping is only $5 flat rate. They carry some great trendy items as well as the basics.
