I want to start shopping for school clothes (on-line) and need some names of some clothing lines that are popular with the kids at the moment. My kids are 11 (girl) and 8 (boy). My 11 year old can wear women clothing so she will be easy but my son’s clothes has to be from a kids line. Thanks.

My son is 8 and he likes the Tony Hawk line and some stuff from hot topic like the t-shirts. depending on what her style is it could be from MetroPark clothes or Holister or American Eagle stuff!

AT ONE TIME!

I don’t buy from Gymboree because I don’t think the clothes are that cute (although I did buy a lady bug onesie set that was adorable) but I do go to Old Navy and Baby Gap quite a bit, as well as Carter’s and The most I’ve spent in one day is maybe close to a hundred? Or around $75? I try to not buy her clothes to often because she was two sizes behind, now she’s one size behind and two weeks ago she was 13 pounds and last week she was 12 pounds….she fluctuates too much to buy sizes and expect them to fit in the season that I bought them for. I buy a lot of the pants/onesies/long sleeve bodysuit sets for that reason.

I think it’s a great idea. Let’s face it, as long as you’re a minor, you’re the property of your parents or guardians (or a ward of the state, if social services managed to get their grubby, greedy paws on you.) By the time you reach the age of majority, they’ve already invested anywhere from $100 thousand to $1 million on average raising you. Why not protect that investment?
